  Who is Tubab Muso?

doundoun, sangban, kenkeni, djembe (c) Tubab MusoTubab Muso consists of a couple of enthousiastic people who have played Westafrican percussion for about 8 years. They are students of a.o. Ponda O’Bryan, best known and respected teacher in the Netherlands, of Carlo Hoop, companion of Ponda O'Bryan, and of Cécé Koly, sangban-companion of Mamady Keďta. Furthermore they had workshops with a.o. Mamadou 'Delmundo' Keita, Victor Sams, Mamady Keďta, Oké Sené and Ousmane Seyé. Tubab Muso played with various djembe-players and had some live-performances.

So a profound knowledge of the basic principles of the ensemble of djembe's, doundoun, sangban and kenkeni is firmly rooted with Tubab Muso.
